The most “important” player of all time? Here’s why that might just be the case.

And…good on ya, Taylor Fritz. Way to go, Coco!

American tennis is all the better for your solid end of season performances.

Now that Elena Rybakina has teamed up with Goran, Mats answers the question, will this work, AND what about tennis’s new “coaching from the stands” allowance? Is this really a good thing for the players?

Also, Jonny talks about several players that quietly exceeded expectations in 2024. Although maybe in some cases not as quietly as others!

It is the cup that seems to have runneth over! The Laver Cup has taken tennis by storm. All those players, plus Borg, Mac, Roger, and the Rocket, it’s a veritable tennis museum come to life!

Plus, while we’re at it, let’s not just gloss over the Davis Cup. The finals will be upon us soon. Rafa’s last stand? We shall see.

Longhorn Tennis legend Gary Plock is going into the Texas Sports Hall of Honor, and former teammate Steve Denton joins AZ in paying GP a well-deserved tribute!

He was just a country boy from Louisville, Ky that came to Texas (UT, that is) to play a little college tennis.  He would go on to play the #1 singles spot for 4 years, lead his Longhorns to a Southwest Conference championship in ’77, and take out Johnny Mac in the NCAA doubles in ’78.  Now…he takes his rightful place among the UT elite, as he is inducted into the 2018 class of the University of Texas Sports, Hall of Honor.  Teammate Steve Denton has plenty to say about why this is so well-deserved.

Congrats to GARY PLOCK on his 2018 induction into the University of Texas Sports, Hall of Honor!

Is there a case to be made for tennis fans to be disappointed in the young guns of men’s tennis? Tom Fontana thinks so! Here is his thought-provoking take on that.

With Tom Fontana’s pro experience and sharp eye for detail, he has every right to offer strong opinions about the state of the men’s game. My suspicion is that this one will definitely make you think…..this guy’s got a damn good point!

Tommy Fontana thinks today's coaches aren't forcing their players to do what is necessary to beat Federer and Nadal in majors. Does he have a point?
